That Rex almost “dying” episode reminded me of an idea of a Victorious episode I had not long ago Robby and Rex “switch bodies” through some kind of electrical accident
fun fact, the person who plays Robbie has the broken glass song memorized to heart, he even did a video on the nickelodeon channel about songs in the episdoes and tries to remember the lyrics, he did the best out of the people they had on.
The actor who plays Robbie, Matt Bennett, was reportedly well-liked by the cast, especially because he often made improv songs (like the one that later became the song about broken glass). Some of these made it to the irl Slap website as Robbie originals.
11:36 Leon Thomas wrote that song himself when he was only 14 years old long before he was casted as Andre in Victorious. Just goes to show what a truly talented singer and musician he truly is
The diddly bop song is one of the funniest songs in this entire series and also the blowing machine is a very hilariously uncomfortable joke in the show but then again all the jokes in this show are uncomfortable and the sleepover episode is a classic
Robbie plays the guitar very good. And seeing Rex broken up like that is very sad. Also Tori and her playing different characters without breaking character is excellent.
Jade immediately frowns after her line!! 😂😂 Jade and Beck were indeed not enjoying this. During Sleepover at Sikowitz, all of the emilitated guests going to Tori and Trina’s house was hilarious. 😂😂 Trina was mentioned but she was at the mall with her friends.

Robbie’s Broken Glass song was funny 😂, and enjoyed the episode with dress up at the teacher’s house. Felt bad for Jade for her hand burn, but still funny at the same time. ❤ Did find the food dance so funny 🤣.
In the diddlybops episode, that was amazing. I felt bad for Cat, Sikowitz, and Sinjin in the end. Cat was the only original one to come back. Sikowitz 34 ? 😂😂😂 He wishes. When Rex got destroyed, Robbie was so delusional especially in that hospital scene. Jade isn’t the only one apparently. Lastly in the sleepover at Sikowitz, that would never happen in real life. Having high school kids stay at your house as a teacher, that’s very very bad. Nevertheless being a cop with obsession of Raisin Bran looks pretty easy

Honestly, these episodes were funny yet when rewatching this with Cody, I also noticed the more adult jokes in this show. Honestly all of them flew right over our heads as kids. Is it just me who was a bit annoyed at Tori for "reviving" Rex? Felt it would have been better for Robbie's character earlier on in the show. I felt like Jade would have won the method acting exercise if it wasn't for her burning her hands on the tray
The second episode in this video kind of confuses me, as in previous episodes as well as future episodes it's heavily implied Rex is his own entity there are a lot of really creepy moments that happened in this show when Robbie sticks his hand and Rex that makes it actually kind of feel like Rex is taking over as well as like the way he is kind of scared of Rex like we saw it with his dream and there's just been a lot of episodes like that where with like the Northridge girls And then in future episodes like the iCarly victorious mashup, so I do find it a little weird that in this episode his friends kind of make fun of him for thinking of Rex as being alive, when in both future episodes as well as past episodes they actually acknowledge he's real, again they might just think he's a puppet because the whole point is that Robbie is kind of trying to hide the fact that Rex is real like telling him not to speak which we saw in the belly episode and then in this episode at the very end he does speak all on his own without Robbie even touching him which I feel like it's something a lot of people don't pick up on, so I think it is kind of somewhat up to interpretation, I know that a lot of people think that it could just be something psychologically wrong with Robbie , which could be true and I guess would make him perfect for cat because they both have psychological issues as they do assassinate her character in future seasons, but honestly I'm not totally sure what they're trying to imply with Robbie, as this episode can feel a little out of place from other episodes and how they're trying to portray Rex, I am not really sure what they're trying to say so I think a lot of it is just up for interpretation. Whether there really is inside of Rex or something weird happened there with like the puppet coming to life or again like I said as it is up to interpretation you could just say that Robbie is really really good at mining, but considering the fact that Rex is played by a person and there's like this actual puppet that has a British accent I feel like the show does a really good job both in Cannon and out of Canon both with this show and with iCarly and with all the behind-the-scenes stuff and making you feel like Rex is his own separate entity from Robbie, both with a British puppet playing him which makes it very meda either way, again I know the actor isn't actually a puppet, but my point is that they've done a really good job at creating this persona for the puppet of being an actor playing a puppet who is then playing a puppet in the show victorious, so you know there are a lot of deep levels there, so like I said that's why I think it's up for interpretation as to whether or not Rex is real, either way he's real to Robbie and that's what I think is the most most important, sure his friends might think it's weird but like I said in a lot of other episodes they do acknowledge he's real also who really knows, what I will say about that episode though is that for all the weirdness in it, it does spin it both ways so it's looking at it from two perspectives depending on what you want to believe.
@ItsTotallyCody! At 21:00 it serves jades right to ask if cat if someone would fall off a cat walk, at 19:14 serves her right she deserves to be shocked as what Benjamin Franklin always says those things that hurt instruct to me that is fair punishment
The money, prestige, and possibility of impacting children's lives for generations as a children's performer is nothing to sneeze at. I chalk it up to teenage ignorance in-story, but can't guess the writers' excuse. It's extremely lucrative to be a popular kid's performer, very respectable work, and a true dream for many actors who want to work with/for kids. Like, if they hold auditions for a Big Comfy Couch remake, I'd camp outside to be first in line. They poo on it because it's funny...but they could have achieved financial security before graduation had they leaned into the Diddly-Bops.
Realistically Cat, Tori, and Robbie could've pretended to be their character outside the job. Honestly, I was embarrassed for the gang when they were the Diddly Bops singing that dumb kids song. I don't know how I'd feel if I was in their shoes. Oh, and by the way, I think the chocolate beverage Andre was drinking was supposed to a parody of a Yoohoo even if the name is stupid. The covering kinda gave it away and a Yoohoo isn't necessarily chocolate milk, more or less, well, a "chocolate beverage". I think Rex "dying" was a pretty sad thing to happen even if it was staged. He is Robbie's best friend even if he's just a puppet. Oh, and I would NEVER go on a date with the doctor's son, Lendle, as he is just... I don't even know how to describe it.
